Urethane Wear Strips

Urethane wear strips are typically manufactured by bonding a 90A-60D urethane to steel or aluminum flatbar.  Widths usually range from 1” wide urethane up to 12” wide for larger applications.  They are typically cast in 12’ lengths and can be cut into custom lengths.  The urethane can be cast the full width of the part or we can leave sides exposed to allow for the bars to be welded into position for ease in installation. We can also machine the parts after they are cast for installation using fasteners.

This product is cost-effective and very versatile, it's used in many different industrial applications such as bumpers, stops, or liners to protect equipment from scratches or damage or in noise abatement for metal to metal contact. 

We offer design assistance and will provide engineered drawings of the product for approval for machined products.

Typical tolerances are +/-.030 on urethane thickness / width and +/-.125 on overall length.
