Precision Urethane has manufactured bearing pads used in bridges and roadways world wide. Polyurethane bridge bearing pads have clear advantages over traditional rubber bearing pads. Urethane can be formulated in much harder compounds with tensile and tear properties much greater than rubber compounds. Urethane also has better resistance to ozone and will not degrade and break down like rubber.

To better service the needs of our customers, Precision Urethane has invested in large capacity casting technology which enables us to cast very large bearing pads. Precision flow meters measure each and every cast to ensure each part meets customers specifications. To complement our state-of-the-art metering technology, we can also machine each pad to customer specifications in our in our machining division. Machining items up to 40” in diameter.
