CNC Machinist

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Set-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices.
  • Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards.
  • Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Document actions by completing production and quality logs.
  • Good understanding of G-code editing required
  • Mold making experience would be of great value to the company
  • We design using Solid Works, and program using MasterCam (Lathe and Mill)
Quality Control Inspector

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • First Articles
  • Equipment Calibrations
  • Quality Assurance Inspection
  • Assist in Trimming of Finished Products

Sandblaster / Painter

Needing an experienced individual to prepare steel parts for manufacturing. Bonding agent to be applied to sandblasted parts to prepare them for polyurethane.

  • Sandblasting experience required
  • Industrial Painting experience required
  • Able to read blueprints & drawings
  • Working knowledge of calipers & gauges.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Urethane production knowledge is a plus.
  • Pay will be based on knowledge and experience.
Tool / Mold Design Engineer

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide Engineering support to the manufacturing facility as it pertains to tooling (molds), fixtures, and plant equipment.
  • Work with manufacturing mgt. on design activities for customer tooling and components using SolidWorks CAD system.
  • Provide engineering guidance to sales, estimating and manufacturing for project estimating.
  • Maintain drawings for molds, parts, fixtures, etc.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in the molding industry (preferred but not essential)
  • Computer Skills: Extensive working knowledge of SolidWorks CAD system
  • Knowledge of plastic material properties, processing options and limitations (preferred but not essential)
  • Knowledge of mold designs and construction (preferred but not essential)
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis and other statistical tools such as DOE’s , 5 Whys, FMEA, DFMEA, etc. is a benefit.
  • Must have good decision making skills and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to manage and deliver results on multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings management and control.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T
  • Good oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Good interpersonal skills

Purchasing /Procurement

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Review blueprints, specifications, and bill of materials to ensure all material is ordered correctly and meets customer specifications.
  • Quote and procure metal & other raw materials and shop supplies.
  • Be responsible for creating and releasing purchase orders.
  • Define the correct buying channel for each request; choose the best supplier in terms of price, quality, and lead time.
  • Review confirmations and order acknowledgements to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Follow-up on RFQ’s and PO’s to verify pricing and lead time/delivery.
  • Manage vendor relationships:
  • Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and create new ones, evaluating suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability.
  • Set up new vendors in our system with all required documentation.
  • Communicate closely with the sales team, production, machining, and engineering departments to keep them updated with any changes to delivery dates.
  • Strictly adhere to ethics policies.

Requirements:

  • Manufacturing background required.
  • 3+ years of previous experience in Purchasing / Procurement.
  • Understanding and knowledge of engineering drawings, technical specifications, various grades of materials, mechanical properties, and certifications including mill certs, Charpy Impact Requirements, MTR’s, COA’s NDE’s, COO’s & COC’s.
  • Extensive knowledge of metal/steel.
  • Understanding and knowledge of ERP Systems.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Must speak English or be proficient Bilingual.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Have time management & organizational skills, and strong written & verbal communication skills.
Lead Urethane Technician

We are searching for a Lead Urethane Technician to join our team.  This person will be reporting directly to the department supervisor and will be tasked with learning how to operate urethane metering machines along with manufacturing processes of polyurethane products such as rollers, rods, wheels, etc. according to specifications.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Set-up workstations for polyurethane production and optimum workflow
  • Prepare and inspect molds at the time of set-up, and end of production run
  • Cast urethane products
  • Breakout and inspection of open cast and compression molded products
  • Check products per company procedures to ensure quality and conformity
  • Identify any problems with products and report to supervisor for corrections
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must have knowledge of measurement gauges
  • Detail oriented and consistent
  • Basics in mathematics, reading and writing
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds

 

Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with manufacturing & production
  • Experience with open cast & compression molds is a plus
Urethane Production

We will train for this position!

  • Casting of urethane rollers, rods, wheels, etc.
  • Manufacturing experience with molds is a plus, but not required.
  • Compression molding of seals
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
