Finite Elemental Analysis
To validate material selection and product design, an FEA (Finite Elemental Analysis) was performed to determine stress concentrations given application load conditions. Both material selection and structural design met performance requirements with acceptable strain levels.
350lb 70 Shore D Part
Several of these 70 Shore D 350lb parts were cast for application testing.
Factory Acceptance Testing
FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) was performed to validate results from the FEA. Physical testing revealed the deflection to be within 10% of the initial FEA calculations.
Short Lead Times
This project required an unusually short lead time. Precision cast 60 tons of product in under 14 weeks to meet the project lead time.
Mutiple Weekly Shipments
