Individual Mold Segments

Mold Segments

Individual mold segments were designed and assembled to create a support structure to handle the 6,000 pounds of polyurethane material used in each part.
Tooling

Crane Lifting Mold

An overhead crane was used to lift and demold the 32’ section of tooling.
Underground Chamber

Demold

A total of 3 parts where cast for this project. A 7’ diameter 32’ deep underground chamber was created to cast and cure each part.
Polyurethane Yellow Section

Yellow Polyurethane Part

This photo shows the flexibility of the yellow section of polyurethane as it is being crane lifted into position for packaging.
